HK STREAM B
Stream B is a pathway that allows Hong Kong residents that complete at least one year of qualifying work experience in Canada within the last 3 years to apply for permanent residence. This scheme will be in effect until August 31, 2026. There are no age and education restrictions or requirements on the types of work experience to apply through Stream B.
Application requirements

Hold a valid HKSAR passport or BNO passport

Be physically present in Canada at the time of application and when you are granted permanent residency

Have valid temporary resident status in Canada

Intend to live in any province in Canada other than Quebec

Have worked at least 1 year full time in Canada, or an equal amount of part time hours (at least 1560 hours in total) in the 3 years before application (Part time work completed while studying as a full time student, self-employment, and work completed outside Canada are not considered for eligibility to meet this requirement)

You must provide a copy of your language test results that shows you have a level 5 score in all 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) on one of the following scales:Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC)
